Sanlucar de Barrameda dates back to the very beginning of civilization, boasting prehistoric sites such as the "Dolmen del Agostado", with the history of the Phoenicians, Romans, Normans, Vikings, Muslims, and Christians leaving their distinct mark on this ancient city.

Sanlucar is not only rich in history, but also in gastronomy and oenology. The natural blessings bestowed upon it by sea and land offer visitors gastronomic treasures of immense value, and have made Sanlucar a reference point at both national and international level. Our most precious jewel, the golden coloured Sanlucar Manzanilla, emerged from a landscape tapestry blending the green shades of the vineyards with the white horizon of “albariza” soils and the intense azure sky.

Whether meandering through the small winding streets of the old town, marvelling at the sunsets over the "Coto de Doñana", or simply joining the locals in one of the many local city festivals, Sanlucar de Barrameda offers the visitor a unique experience for all the senses.
